Ltd. and Building Trades Association of Unions of Western Australia (Association of Workers) No. C29 of 1989. Construction Workers Construction Industry COMMISSIONER A.R. BEECH. 21st day of February 1989. Order. HAVING heard Mr P. Davis on behalf of the applicant and Mr S. Billing on behalf of the respondent, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred on it under the Industrial Relations Act 1979. hereby orders— That notwithstanding the provisions of the Building Trades (Construction) Award No. 14 of 1978, as amended, employees of the Principal Contractor and employees of sub-contractors who are employed on the CSIRO site in Edward Street, Nedlands shall be paid SI.10 per hour worked in lieu of all disabilities contained in Clause 9.— Special Rates except for the rates in subclause 9(l)(f) — Explosive Powered Tools and subclause 9(l)(w) — Heavy Blocks. The abovementioned rate shall not attract premium penalty and shall apply from commencement of the project until practical completion. (Sgd.) A.R. BEECH.
