WHEREAS a conference was held on the 4th day of November 1987 to discuss the implementation of changes in work practices agreed upon between the parties; whereas the parties now agree that those practices should be implemented on the understanding that the changes made will then justify a wage increase under the Restructuring and Efficiency Principle; and whereas such changes in work practices have been clearly identified and explained in detail and the particulars have been recorded in the Commission; now therefore, the Commission being satisfied that the agreement reached conforms with the Restructuring and Efficiency Principle enunciated by the Commission in Court Session on 25 March 1987 in Matter No. 1195 of 1986, and by consent, hereby orders that the agreement be ratified. Clause 4. — Area and Scope: Delete subclause (3) of this clause. Section C 2. Clause 41. — Wages and Classifications: Delete paragraph (d) of subclause (1) of this clause and insert the following in lieu thereof — (d) Crane Driver (up to and including 10 tonnes) 438.40 Crane Driver (exceeding 10 tonnes) 448.60 3. Clause 43. — Special Rates and Provisions: Delete subclause (13) of this clause and insert the following in lieu thereof — (13) Certificated Crane Drivers' Allowance: Employees who hold the recognised licence to operate mobile cranes shall be paid per week of ordinary hours an allowance as follows. Grigoroff on behalf of the Respondent, and by consent, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred on it under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 hereby orders — That the agreement reached between the parties to pay employees employed by or on behalf of the Respondent in carrying out the construction work at Kelmscott High School site at Kelmscott, a site allowance of 70 cents per hour to compensate for all special factors and disabilities in connection with the said work in lieu of and in substitution for WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL GAZETTE 70 W.A.I.G. all special rates and conditions prescribed in Clauselbofthe Engineering Trades (Government) Award, 1967 Award Nos. 29,30 and 31 of 1961 and 3 of 1962, excepting subclause (24), with effect from the commencement of work on the site on the 10th day of August 1989 until the work is complete, be and is hereby ratified.
