[2009] AIRCFB 962 [2009] AIRCFB 962 Download Word Document AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION DECISION Workplace Relations Act 1996 s.576H—Commission may vary modern awards Seven Network (Operations) Limited and others (AM2009/108) BROADCASTING AND RECORDED ENTERTAINMENT AWARD 2010 [MA000091] JUSTICE GIUDICE, PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT LAWLER VICE PRESIDENT WATSON SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT WATSON SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT HARRISON SENIOR DEPUTY PRESIDENT ACTON COMMISSIONER SMITH MELBOURNE, 30 DECEMBER 2009 [1] This decision concerns an application by the Seven Network (Operations) Limited and its related entities, Network Ten Pty Ltd and its subsidiaries, Nine Network Pty Ltd and its related entities, WIN Corporation Pty Ltd and its related entities, Prime Media Group and its related entities, TX Australia and Macquarie Southern Cross Media to vary the Broadcasting and Recorded Entertainment Award 2010 1 (the modern award) to correct a number of typographical errors and clarify some entitlements for journalists covered by the award. [2] The application is made on a consent basis with the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA). [3] We are satisfied that the variations sought are necessary to correct typographical errors, delete redundant provisions and ensure that current entitlements have not inadvertently been omitted.
