HAVING heard Mr R French of counsel on behalf of the appellant and Ms E Tapsell of counsel on behalf of the respondent, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred on it under the Police Act 1892 (WA), hereby orders –
(1) THAT the appellant be and is hereby granted leave to amend his grounds of appeal in terms of the amended substituted notice of appeal filed on 5 June 2026 save for grounds A(1)(b), A(4)(d)(ii)(A)-(C) and (E).
(2) THAT the amended grounds of appeal are to incorporate those further proposed amendments referred to in the appellant’s written submissions at [80].
(3) THAT the appellant file the substituted amended grounds of appeal incorporating the amendments in pars (1) and (2) above by 10 July 2026.
