(3) A casual employee shall receive 20 per cent of the ordinary rate in addition to the ordinary rate for his or her class of work. 2. Clause 8. — Overtime: Immediately following subclause (7) of this clause insert a new subclause (8) as follows: (8)(a) By agreement between the employee and employer, time off in lieu of payment for overtime may be granted proportionate to the payment to which an employee is entitled. Such time off is to be taken in unbroken periods according to each period of overtime worked. (b) The actual period of time off may be accmed and taken at a time agreed between the employer and employee concerned. 3. Clause 12. — Annual Leave: Delete subclause (7) of this clause and insert the following in lieu thereof: (7) The total annual leave entitlement may, by agreement between the employee and the employer, be taken in more than one portion. It is a term of this industrial agreement that the union undertakes for the duration of the Principles determined by the Commission in Court Session in Application No. 1940 of 1989 not to pursue any extra claims, award or overaward except when consistent with the State Wage Principles.
