WESTERN AUSTRALIA POLICE FORCE INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT 2021 WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COMMISSION PARTIES Western Australia Police Force APPLICANT -v- WA Police Union of Workers RESPONDENT CORAM PUBLIC SERVICE ARBITRATOR Commissioner T Emmanuel DATE THURsday, 2 December 2021 FILE NO PSAAG 7 OF 2021 CITATION NO. 2021 WAIRC 00612 Result Agreement registered Representation Applicant Ms M Butler (as agent) & Ms A Ingle (as agent) Respondent Mr M Shipman (of counsel) & Ms C Fuentes-Beltran (as agent) Order WHEREAS this is an application pursuant to section 41 of the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) to register an industrial agreement; AND WHEREAS I am satisfied that the agreement meets the requirements of the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA) and that it should be registered; AND WHEREAS clause 1(2) on page 2 of the agreement states that it replaces the Western Australia Police Industrial Agreement 2020, but the correct title of the agreement being replaced is the Western Australia Police Force Industrial Agreement 2020; AND WHEREAS the parties have identified a number of minor typographical errors in the agreement and have provided the Public Service Arbitrator with six replacement pages, being pages 2, 5, 6, 65, 66 and 98; AND WHEREAS the Public Service Arbitrator has amended the agreement by substituting pages 2, 5, 6, 65, 66 and 98 with the six replacement pages referred to above; AND HAVING heard from Ms M Butler (as agent) and Ms A Ingle (as agent) on behalf of the applicant and Mr M Shipman (of counsel) and Ms C Fuentes-Beltran (as agent) on behalf of the respondent at the hearing; NOW THEREFORE the Public Service Arbitrator, pursuant to the powers conferred under the Industrial Relations Act 1979 (WA), orders – THAT the agreement made between the parties filed in the Registry on 25 November 2021 entitled Western Australia Police Force Industrial Agreement 2021 as amended by the Public Service Arbitrator on 2 December 2021 and attached to this order be registered as an industrial agreement in replacement of the Western Australia Police Force Industrial Agreement 2020, which by operation of s 41(8) is cancelled.
