WESTERN AUSTRALIAN INDUSTRIAL GAZETTE 515 Result Award varied Representation Applicant Mr T Pope Respondents No appearances Order HAVING heard Mr T Pope on behalf of the applicant and there being no appearances on behalf of the respondents, the Commission, pursuant to the powers conferred under the Industrial Relations Act 1979, hereby orders: THAT the Food Industry (Food Manufacturing or Processing) Award be varied in accordance with the following Schedule and that such variation shall have effect from the beginning of the first pay period commencing on or after 14 May 2010. (Sgd.) J L HARRISON, [L.S.] Commissioner. SCHEDULE 1. Clause 19. - Meal Allowance: Delete this clause and insert the following in lieu thereof: Where an employee required to work overtime for more than two hours, without being notified on the previous day or earlier that he/she will be so required to work, shall be supplied with a meal by the employer or paid $10.10 for a meal. If owing to the amount of overtime a second or subsequent meal is required the employee shall be supplied with each such meal by the employer or be paid $6.85 for each meal so required. If an employee in consequence of receiving such notice has provided himself/herself with a meal or meals and is not required to work overtime or is required to work less overtime than notified, he/she shall be paid the amounts prescribed above in respect of the meals not then required. 2.
