[2010] FWAA 3601 [2010] FWAA 3601 Download Word Document FAIR WORK AUSTRALIA DECISION Fair Work Act 2009 s.185 - Application for approval of a single-enterprise agreement Australian Institute of Marine Science (AG2010/1006) AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTE OF MARITIME SCIENCE ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2010-2012 [AE877698] Commonwealth employment COMMISSIONER DEEGAN CANBERRA, 6 MAY 2010 Australian Institute of Maritime Science Enterprise Agreement 2010-2012. [1] An application has been made for approval of a single enterprise agreement known as the Australian Institute of Maritime Science Enterprise Agreement 2010-2012 (the Agreement). The application was made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 . [2] I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss186, 187 and 188 as are relevant to this application for approval have been met. [3] The CPSU, the Community and Public Sector Union and “Automotive, Food, Metals, Engineering, Printing and Kindred Industries Union” known as the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU), employee organisations which were bargaining representatives for the Agreement, have given notice under s.183 of the Act that they want to be covered by the Agreement. In accordance with s.201 (2) I note that the Agreement will cover each named organisation. [4] The Agreement is approved and, in accordance with s.54, will operate from 13 May 2010.
