1 Fair Work Act 2009 s.789FC - Application for an order to stop bullying Wilson (AB2025/1004) COMMISSIONER MCKINNON SYDNEY, 10 DECEMBER 2025 Application for an order to stop bullying at work – whether application has reasonable prospects of success [1] On 1 December 2025, Mr Fred Wilson applied for an order to stop bullying at work under s.789FC of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act). The application was made in relation to Nexar Group Pty Ltd (Nexar Group) and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA), and persons with whom Mr Wilson says he interacted while at work in the business of Nexar Group and GBRMPA. [2] On the materials, Mr Wilson is not a worker in the business of either Nexar Group or GBRMPA and accordingly is not entitled to apply to the Commission for orders to stop bullying at work.1 Order [3] The application (AB2025/1004) is dismissed under section 587(1)(a) of the Act.
